We will be presenting recent work on a Fire-Climate Adaptation ‘menu’ of strategies and approaches that can be used to align fire-specific management goals with climate impacts. The strategies that we have developed fit neatly into an existing climate adaptation framework developed by the USFS Northern Institute of Applied Climate Science, which we applied to a Kaibab Plateau-focused workshop in February 2020. We will present the current, updated version of the Fire-Climate Adaptation strategy menu which has been revised based on feedback and suggestions from workshop participants. After the presentation, we will save time for questions and a lightly facilitated discussion. We welcome and encourage your participation and input!
